Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been hospitalized due to ill-health, leading her to forgo participation in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh. Scheduled to join her brother, Rahul Gandhi, at Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh as the yatra entered the state from Bihar, Priyanka Gandhi expressed her disappointment at being unable to join the journey due to her hospitalization.

Announcing this in a post on X Priyanka wrote, "I was eagerly waiting for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to reach Uttar Pradesh. But due to an illness, I had to be admitted to the hospital today itself. I will join the Yatra as soon as I feel better."

The Nyay Yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, is currently progressing through Bihar and entered Uttar Pradesh late on Friday evening. The yatra, covering 6,700 km through 15 states, aims to promote the message of "nyay" (justice) by engaging with people along its route.
